Fannie Mae Would Sell Its Headquarters in Washington DC

UrbanTurf reported on Thursday, November 30, 2016 that government-operated mortgage buyer Fannie Mae announced that it would sell its headquarters at 3900 Wisconsin Avenue NW and move downtown.  Japanese developer Sekisui House plans to purchase and redevelop 430,000 square-foot property.  Fannie Mae will continue using the building on Wisconsin Avenue for the next 2-3 years while the New Fannie Mae Headquarters on 15th Street NW in the old Washington Post is constructed.
